We spent half our bear hunting weekend looking for a wounded butt shot bear in the pouring rain. The two clowns from ct two mountains away butt shot a blackbear. I hate to leave a wounded bear in my area. The following bear season we harvested a bear and there was the bullet in his rump stuck in the meat.

My uncles hunted this area for many decades, me and my brother carried on the tradition for decades. It was a hoot to hunt were my relatives have hunted. My sons are carrying on the tradition now.
