I failed to cut around enough on the far side of the hinge and it pivoted when I drove the wedge in.

No chainsaws on the roof, but I did drop this 20" cedar on my mother's house. I will be milling the logs in a couple of weeks.

reminds me of a hunting cabin i stayed in, i loved it there, was a gun behind every door and on every shelf and they where locked and loaded to boot..

You'd be further ahead to store your saws in the wood shed, much easier to access than on the roof Nice Cabin.

Took a load of scrap to the junkyard today. No saws on the roof, but they did have a bunch of big truck tires and rims sitting on the roof of the scale house.
