Dolmar PS-5105 : saw chain: orignal dolmar or oregon?

Hello guys,

This week bought my first chainsaw, a Dolmar PS 5105. Main reason: good price here in Europe, and very good dealerk very close to me!


Now I did get this chainsaw with a 18" blade, and a 3/8" chinsel.


I do have some questions:

* putting on a 15" blade, also with 3/8, will I notice big difference? Because 90% of the time I won't need 18" here in Europe, so I am thinking of buying an extra blade of 15".


* if buying a 15" blade, would you guys prefer orignal dolmar-blade, or oregon? What about quality?

The original Dolmar/Makita bar and chain are made by Oregon, so if you can get an Oregon bar cheaper, it's exactly the same quality.

A bit strange, but here I can order Dolmar blades cheaper than oregon So that' ok!
