Dropping chains

I have two nasty gouges on my hand this week from a fresh chain . I had just put it on the saw and it was in a bind on the sprocket . I tried rolling it with my hand backwards and slipped. Got a finger tip and palm. It's not the first time and won't be the last

I like to wear chains around my neck while hand filing. Obviously i never worry about dropping them
