I'm going to be bringing my saw in to the dealer so they can put the tach on it and adjust the carb if need be and I was wondering if it would be a good time to put a dual port on?? Will I notice a significant difference cutting firewood and a few loads of pulp wood a year? I've read about reseting the carb.. what all would I have to do there? And last but not least, does anyone know how much they are? Thanks for all your help so far. :biggrinbounce2:

Madsens has an excellent link on tuning a Stihl, in their archives. But the only way I know to access it is to go to Ebay, click on a listing for one of Scott's dual port muffler covers, and then hit the link he provides for adjusting a carb. Follow Scott's link, and follow the instructions, and you should be fine.
