Wonder how long he had to play with exposure rate and lighting to get the desired deception..err...effect.

The one and only thing I learned from photography back in high school: it's all in the lighting. Applies to busted up saws and ugly women equally well.

Because, you used Kodak software on it?

Good case in point:

Take the seller's crummy pictures and run them thru photo editing software before bidding.

Danm straight I'll do it on the next one.

Carl.

It doesn't always help, but it would have picked this one up.

Deliberate deception? I really can't say. A lot of sellers just don't know poo-poo about chainsaws.

More like amature buyer colides with amature seller.

I admit I tend to be too optomistic.

I sell occasionally on 'the bay, know a little about saws but am a little photography impaired. But I keep on doing it until I get a decent representation of the saw they're bidding on lest I have a very unhappy buyer...

Enhance the seller's picture.

Here is a prime example of a dark almost worthless picture.

Still not the best but I can see the starter dog mechanism is present.

Thanks to Mr. edisto, photo editing will be S.O.P. from now on.

I do. usually any pic that I get that is unclear I run through Photoshop. I guess that would be because that is my profession though.
