I never had complaints with the bar that came on the saw, just the chain.

Here's a cheap option though for a quarter tip. End up spending around $110 with the sprocket and a chain.

Shoot all this talk about bars has me wanting to buy one. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that Forester 12" quarter tip bar, woodland pro 325 050 NK chain, and the echo .325 sprocket for a grand total of $120

I've used the woodland pro 325 NK chain on a couple of saws and its good cutting chain. Fairly cheap too through Baileys. I've been saying this for months but soon I'm going to do a stock, 325 setup, then ported with stock chain and finish with the 325 setup comparison.

Has anyone found a .043 stihl bar that does not have to be modified for these 2511s? I realize this thread is pretty old but I'm wanting to put a 3/8 .043 bar and chain on my 2511 and having a hard time finding a solution. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
