I somehow broke off one side of the oiler adjuster screw head when I was turning to get more oil if I could (didn't remember if I had it all the way or not). It ended up being all the way I guess...hence the broken screw. It isn't bothering me right now as it's just stuck on max but I may eventually want to lower it. Is there an easy replacement screw and how difficult would it be to be able to take the screw out without the other side of the head?

I purchased an Echo cs440 about 6 years ago and like you I broke off one side of the oiler adjust screw. It's wide open and it goes thru a lot of oil but I don't worry if it's getting enough. maybe someday I'll tear it down and replace the oiler, but for now I'll leave it alone. By the way that 440 really came alive after the muffler mod:msp_smile:
