1) It's just a lineman's belt. No saddle.
2) The lanyard is not acceptable for life support, the snaps are not the locking type. It's either older than the current standards (can't tell cause it's wrapped in tape) or wasn't designed for life support. By the looks of the snaps, it is probably many years old.

Makes ya take destroying gear more seriously, that might be someone's trash someone is trying to spin into gold! Though, even my trash don't look that bad!

Can you imagine leaning against that belt, squishing your kidneys all day? i wonder if the seller was told it was tree gear, or figured it out for him/herself?

So ebay is selling used rubbers for cheap f*%$^~'s?

Dave! Knucklehead! I had that thing for $8 until you told the WORLD. Just leave my bids on the Ferraris alone. Last time I talk to you....

When I leave home:

3 bottles of water kept in freezer overnight.
Roll of both duct tape and first aid tape.
A kleenex or something fairly clean to use with duct tape for serious cuts.
A six-pack of Bendryl pills
Extra T-shirt (in case I have a social function)
Extra jeans (in case I rip a big one)
My K-bar in shin holster (in case of Taliban or goof-up in tree)
2.5 gallons of high octane (mix out of it in one gallon increments)
1 gallon of bar oil
Pole saw/loppers
Assorted towels (one strip to hang from back pocket while in tree)
Breath mints (for social functions or helper with trench mouth)
Insurance policies
Passport (so no one rips it off from home while I'm gone)
Photo album of amazing work, wonderful places and pretty faces.
Q-tips (for eye chips and wood boogers)
Tweezers (for slivers and thorns)
Mini Mag light (for after dark tire problems)
Jumper cables
vice grips (for Taliban or hose clamps on raditor)
extra cheap reading glasses (going on 46)
two pair safety glasses
assorted pigskin gloves (work barehanded though)
Greatest hits of the 60's on cassette (Steppenwolf for climbin' and buckin')
Stihls - 020, 028, 066 and extra if needed
Two spare tires (have bad rubber luck)
2 log chains, one with slip hook
three ropes (two climbin', 1 150' 1 75' and one bull rope..150')
Ascender, biners, hand saw and scabbard.
All the nylon straps
Stupid spray cans of prunin' sealer (just in case)
Bottle of hydrogen peroxide
An owl feather
Some neat shells from S.C.
Some neat shells and rocks from New Zealand
"OFF" insect repellent (don't use it but someone might)
Work boots and sandles (never know when it's lake time)
Matches and a Bic lighter
Wad of home made Venison jerky (always in glove box, or maybe tool box)
And sometimes one of my dogs (depending on other dogs when I get there).
Invoice forms
A working pen
tape measure (roll-up 100 footer)
Diggin' spade (collapsable plus toilet paper just in case)
Orange cone (s)
Four pack safety flares (I think they're under the seat, dunno)
Torx wrenches (you know stihls)
eight precut chains always sharp
four rat tails
three pack two cycle mix (1 per gallon)
Jeez, what else?
Oh, Aspirin or Advil, lots of it and some muscle relaxant if needed for the lake after climbing all morning.

That should do it just about, although there's a lot of other stuff under my seat or piled in the back seat (four door truck).

Hey now. It looks like a lot of stuff but it really isn't. Just empty out your truck and look at everything that pile's up. Got spoiled when I went fourdoor I guess.

True though, I'm a bit short on room. Stopped for hitch hiker and he couldn't fit in.
