The first one sounds really specific. The second is just the class and drive links. A real explanation likely needs come from the manufacturer of the product.

S62 is just the numbering they put on the retail boxesg that are sold in big stores,
91px62 is the precise model/part number which you get at the smaller stores.

Your pictures show the 91PX to have the lubri well holes in the drive links to help transport oil and the S variant lack such feature.

Oregon could have commented on this topic in the past and stated how much variation they allow in the Lettered coding but seem to have stayed away.

I have seen the yellow packaging at a local hardware store, S is (was that day) basically the px cutter and bumper drive link. Kind of silly high priced since other hardware stores or lumber stores will make you a loop of Stihl 63pm3 for less. Maybe even that one they carry Stihl stuff.
