EXTRA fuel pump ?

Speaking with a guy today ,who used to build race saws.
He mentioned he used an extra pump in the fuel tank
Attached where the fuel filter is ,that worked off vibration.
Am not into race saws YET but it did sound interesting.....
the idea of forcing more fuel in.......less bogging down !!? Anyone tried them?
Anyone know about them ? Pros and cons ?

He used to import them from the states.

sound,s interesting but how dose it work on vibration? even if you push it up faster can you push it through the carb?? sounds like you could cause some damage if you over do it. need more info!!

I don't believe that, never heard of a pump that works off vibes. You can get pumps that will work off your crankcase pulse, you could tee off the pulse line and put one in.

Can't say i know anymore than what he told me.Description
of it was it looks like fuel filter except bigger ,longer.
Said they were magic in the 090's racing.......said he would
look around as he has one left ,somewhere....BUT to quote

8 x 090's and many 090 part saws...true
