After finding Mac's. Homie's, Pull-ons, and My sentimental Reminton's, I found a 028 Woodboss on Craig's list, not running for $60.00. New fuel lines, filter, Fresh gas, new air filter, and about 20 pulls it fired up, smoothed out, and idles like a top. I am just tickled to death. Had to tell all my Buds about it. Got enough now. 021, 028, 031, and a dead 041. Life is good. Compression is just a tick over 140 lbs hot. This is OK right?

If your compression tester is accurate, thats a little low. Optimum is 150 or higher. If your piston and cylinder are in good shape a new set of rings might make that baby sing a lot better.
