Firewood and Poison Ivy

I heard about a guy who took out a bunch of poison ivy out of his yard. He took off his pants and laid them on a chair in the bedroom and took a shower. Hours later his wife got out of the shower and sat down in the the chair naked, on the pants to put on some makeup and hair. She got ate up w the ivy and was in agony for days.

Yikes. Did they stay married?!

If they did the poor guy probably has not gotten laid since.

I’m not sure I believe that, since it’s from Wikipedia. I’d think burning would destroy the chemicals. But I really don’t know. It’s never had any effect on me so I’ve got no idea.

it is true, when I worked ICU we had a girl come in intubated from where she was caught in the smoke when her dad burned off some poison ivy. was on a respirator for 6 weeks.
