I built a CSM earlier this year so I could take advantage of an old windfall oak on my new property. I didn't have too much trouble getting it milled into 4" slabs for drying but I did have trouble moving those 12' slabs. I did get them stacked under the car port on the end of my "barn" (it's actually a garage with 15' ceilings). I needed to move those slabs so instead I thought maybe I should just go ahead and get them cut down into more manageable sizes. I took one of the depth legs from my CSM and added a small angle bracket with 10-32 countersunk screws and I used the extra 1 inch square tubing I had from my CSM steel order (they screwed up and gave me twice what I wanted). Ok, here are the pics, they should be self explanatory....
