Well I purchased a used tw5 splitter (old style with remote filter) after running it for a while the hydro filter blew off. I replaced it and continued to use the splitter. Well yesterday after a long day of splitting the filter blew off again- not the threads but the filter case actually separated.
I tool the filter housing off and found that the bypass valve had come apart and lodged itself in the exit hole, just about closing off the hole.
Another problem I had with this machine was high fluid temps
I have to order a new filter housing because the fluid just flows past the filter now - but at least I can use the splitter again.
