There are at least 2 of us in Florida. Me and ROOTSXROCKS.
Although, I'm in North Florida and ROOTSXROCKS is as well (I think).

I have just taken down a bunch of Sweet Gum and Magnolia and a large Basswood or four.

Any of it any good to one of you Mill guys? I hear the Basswood is is something turners and carvers like, and the Magnolia is a light purple grained wood that makes neat Trim. The Sweet gum has some dark cores. None of it had any bugs, was just too close to the Woodsmoke Lounge.

I prolly have plenty of Oak and Hickory left from Milling in 2005 for projects, so I don't need anything, and this wood is all log length 18-24"- destined for campfires if nothing else.

I am on the lookout for another Pignut Hickory or two I could live without, and some white oak and red oak, too. Have lots of Hammock acreage and a Pedro to do the heavy work.

See my webshots in my signature.

I'm in New Smyrna Beach/ Oak Hill.

Bumping to catch the miller from Central Florida.

A co worker wants to get a couple of slabs from the Basswood, for table, I don't mind giving him the logs free.

I might want to get some more hickory milled too.

And prolly some of the Sweet Gum.
