On a drive throught the country today I stopped in at a Stihl dealer close to the highway. Lo and behold, on the shelf was a brand new MS440. In a short time these won't be seen again here in the states. It was right next to a 441, reminding me of the time I last saw an 038MII sitting next to an 044...

probably more timber been cut with an 044/440 than any other brands saw combined.I aint seen the 441 yet,but im sure its probably just as good,and pricier to of course.By the way,nice to another WVian on here,what part ya from?

The 044/440 is a true benchmark.

I don't see any saw nut not having a 044/440 in their line up.

I have sales brocures for the 038 mag and 056 mag. Damn i wanted thoes saws when i was younger, still do!!
