Just thought i would post an update on the ebay saw . I have some cutting time on the saw and have been a lil disapointed with the performance. My 2159 feels to have way more power with a 20'" bar than the 2171 with a 24". Yesterday I went ahead and tore it down to find that the jug and piston was scored pretty good on the exaust side . Upon delivery of the saw I pulled the muffler and the exaust side of the piston looked decent and intake side of the cylinder looked ok with noticable wear. My thoughts are that the piston and rings were replaced and the badly scored cylinder was left untouched.
Yesterday I ordered a big bore kit and hopefully that will wake it up a little I will keep you all updated
