Getting ready for the fireplace this winter

Some cut and split. These ones need to dry out. Cutting and splitting dry ones currently.

Back in the 70's i was of the opinion that a fireplace was the worst waste of heat you could find - Now, i kind of like just sitting there watching it burn - Funny how opinions change.

Got some more done. Yes it does seem like a waste but pretty to look at I agree.
