Picked up this new unused (from a big buidling project who
didn't needed it) 120 cc petrol cutting machine for GBP 540
- cirka USD 750 I guess - on ebay.uk ... .

It is a bad ass machine as compared with eletric cutters /
angle grinders.

If the cutting disc looks a bit ragid it is because I have pra-
ctised a little by cutting wheels of neighbours cars, felling
streetlamps etc. Anyway the saw is big fun (with emphasiz
on big), albeit perhaps a bit on the heavy side for small
cutters :) .

But will it work on trees?

You sound like a modern "Cool Hand Luke"- a Paul Newman character who use a pipe cutter on parking meters.
