Got some pecan

Local fellow pruned his orchard pretty hard, and so I called him up and asked him if I could have some. He obliged so I went cutting yesterday. In about 2 hours, I bucked up and loaded 6-7 pretty good size limbs he had down. Good for a cord a little more. My smoker is going to be happy for a LONG time.

I didn't even start to touch what was laying on the ground. There must be another 40 cords or so.

I like pecan for firewood. But it's hard as hell to split.
I like the way the limps burn while still holding their shape until they become glowing logs.
