This Poulan 2375 needs a new primer bulb. The snap in ones seem to be easier and cheaper to buy.
It seems to me a handy Adapter could be easily made. If so next change would be quick and easy. Most of the stuff I work on uses Snap in primer bulbs.
Maybe use the black plastic base from the screw in. Drill it out to the correct size snap a new bulb right in. If that's to difficult. Cut the plastic top of a 5 gallon bucket. Attach it with the two screws and from now on you have a snap in. So im the guy that once installed a 4 cylinder water cooled Engine in a Volkswagen Bus. Am I the only guy who thinks like this?
Seems like a good idea to me. Have a great day.

If you could maintain vaccum, I don't see why you couldn't.

You are probably Correct. Just a couple days ago a friend phoned needing help. His primer bulb cracked open. I told him to put it together by Bypassing the primer bulb. Use the inside of a Ball point pen or plastic from a spray bottle. He said it works great.
