Looks like a great tool for what it is. Kind of pricey by the time you factor the tractor in though, and I'd never get a tractor in to most of the places I do stumps anyhow. I wonder how it goes once the stump is bigger than the blade, and whether the blades are pricey and how they go when they hit rocks/steel.

I would guess if the stump is bigger, you would just move and re-drill the portion of the stump you did not get. I would think if you hit a rock or steel, going as slow as it goes you would have more time to react than with a regular grinder?

It looks like they have different blade lengths for different applications.

Makes you wonder if a post hole digger attachment could be altered to do the same thing...on a smaller scale...

Thats a big tractor pushing that bit. If its anything like a auger bit you would not be able to drill a second hile next to the first one. The side of the hole always breaks out and the bit goes into the original hole.
