Lastly,here is a store bought one on a 2006 F250. I was too busy when we got the truck and boss opted to buy this.

I like the fact that the first two where homemade but the store bought one doesnt look all that bad. Plus it was easy to put on. No fabbing or painting just install.
If you have the means and the time build one. If you have neither buy one and start tossing wood at it.

Build your own, Here's the one im currently building, not done yet but got it fitted up and holes drilled. Still have to put solid 3/8's round stock in...3 or 4 inch squars, so wood dont bust out window.

Maybe so i have seen welds like that tjough with that flux core. Very nice and clean welds

Tig welded 95% of it, with a little mig at the base. I will start a new thread when finished and post up more picks....and Im going to stake the sides as well.

If I had the ability to weld like that I certainly would have built my own. Very nice fabrication Woodsman!
