I've been trying forever to get this thing started.
Apparently, this seems to be a common problem with this saw.
Here are the details:
-020 AVP
-electronic ignition (0000 400 1306) installed in 99
-Bosch Trigger unit (per picture)
-New spark plug
-Checked the lead connection
-Checked the ground switch
-Disconnected the ground switch (just in case)

I don't see any spark (plug grounded to cylinder, pulled over with drill).

Is there something wired wrong?
How can I measure the module and/or trigger?
Appreciate any input.

Just checking but what way was the drill going? If you where spinning it to the right so the nut didn't come off, your going the wrong way on that saw and you will have no spark.

Drill was going to the left (figured that out somehow).
This only worked with the spark-plug out; to much resistance/compression and the nut will come loose.
I'm just wondering if I have to buy a new ignition module and/or a trigger or maybe something else will fit????
