My Dwarf Alberta spruces are about 7 feet tall.....I have 8 of them.......and one is about 40 % defoliated. After I make sure those parts are not comming back, should I cut the limbs that are dead off at the trunk ?

I think you loaded the wrong pic.
But yes, if the branch is dead, cut it off at the trunk, but cut it correctly, no flush cuts or stubs cuts.

i am concerned that this person, Grassman, has posted 3 times, and hasn't posted a logical pic yet-- well, one is of the outside but is so tiny it can't be recognized... and according to the profile, Grassman is a pill pusher (pharmacist)... scary!!!

Thanks EKKA for the helpfull advice......and for those of you who think the grassman refers to something other than the obvious, you could not be more wrong............my digital camera is on the fritz....sorry all I have are old pictures or I would have posted pictures of the affected Spruces......
