Long time listener first time caller here...
Recently acquired a Stihl 066 used, and have been cleaning it up and getting ready to run but wanted more info on the serial number. Both to affirm that it actually is an 066 and also to try and track down the vintage.
Number 13098180 8
I think I read on another post first digit as 1 means made in Germany and 309 translated into date code somehow?
I know there are some Stihl PhD level guys out there...
