I didn't watch it with the sound but it looks like that people killer is homemade.

My guess is that the belt is powered by a water wheel and he's proud not to be using an engine. Many people are willing to die for such a cause.

These look safer, but the last one the guys hand sure gets close to the blade. Plus he's taking the vid while cutting!

I've seen this done, my neighbour took the legs off a turkey once because it was too big to go in his oven. it was already dead btw.

usually sawbenches like this were powered by a flat belt drive off a Ferguson or Field Marshall tractor, or similar. I'd rather have a chainsaw too.
