I have two Homelite 240 chainsaws. They may be 20-30 years old, but both have excellent compression. The same problem seems to to plague both saws. They start easy enough and run good. After I turn them off after running awhile, they won't immediately restart. Have to let them sit for 15-30 minutes and then they will start, NOT showing any signs of fuel flooding. I believe both saws have electronic ignitions (no points and condensor). What are your thoughts on what needs work.
Thank you very much.

check for collapsed fuel lines! I have one torn apart right now and found that the rubber gas lines tend to collapse over time. I am replacing mine with a clear tubing that the new saws are using.
