Homelite XL-12 Parts Issues

All,

I was given a non-running XL-12 model# 10515B saw by a friend.

Got it running pretty easily but noticed the bar is bent pretty good and the chain is whipped.

I checked pretty much every parts fiche I could find and have not been able to locate the part numbers for a replacement bar or chain.

Can anyone shed some light?

A Bar/chain can be bought from most sources. Or you want a bar that says "Homelite".????

The UT# you gave puts up a little Super xl, but the title says xl12. Put up a pic of your saw.

Homelite had a bad habit of slappin' stickers on saws,
it can get confusing.

Oregon was and likely still is making replacement bars for the XL12 and XL-AO saws, numbers depend on the bar type and bar length. The link below will take you to an Oregon part number look up,

Yep, plenty of those Homelites with XL stickers/ decals on them, the number that comes after the letters is more important.
