Homolite mp-38 DM saw need help

Need help working on this saw. It runs fine, problem is it leaks gas all over. I don't know a lot about saws. This thing leaks gas to the tank is dry. It seems to have a removable plastic tank. It looks like to get it out I have to remove the clutch and thats where I need guidence.

Is that nut left or right hand thread ?
I'm going to use a 3/8 impact gun to do that - very gently

I see there are two threaded holes in the fly wheel, so I can use a puller. Are they SAE or metric.
