How many wear an athletic groin protector? Plastic, Kevlar or Rubber?

I was talking chainsaws with a guy I know and he said he use to work with a guy that did logging on the side. The guy was sawing one day and the chain flew off and hit him between the legs and cut on of his "boys" off. From then on the guys at work called him "One Nut". It makes me cringe to think about it.

Ha, ha, laugh you might...

Being of the opposite sex, I'm not really qualified here BUT...
My type C all around protection Stihl chainsaw trousers (European style) (that I don't always wear) DO have protection all around the groin, front, and between and underneath!

I use Stihl trousers, but the A style, not the C.

I have thought about it, but have problems imagining how to cut yourself there.......
