The question is simple enough! :)

Ive gone through about 4.5 face cords so far. Burning started early this year in Upstate NY - I recall having the stove on a light simmer as early as the end of September, even during the day.

It's been a cold season thus far. At this rate I'm gonna burn well over 10. I'll probably be in the 12 - 13 range.

I am not sure.

I started with about 4 cords stacked and am down to 1, but I have also been bringing a load in every now and then so I have lost track. I believe that I burned about 10 cords last year but I was doing the same thing then too - one of these days I'll have it all ready to go BEFORE the winter hits.

3/4 of a chord. Started burning in middle of October. Burn about 12 hours on weekdays and round the clock on weekends. We are on our 2nd burn ban this month and I cringe every time the electric heat kicks on.

Burning since beginning of October(our 1st year burning wood) for heat and DHW...gone through just over 1/2 cord so far. Mid autumn was mild for us though.

Really?!?!? How big is your house - I am thinking it is 500sf with a 1 person family....or your measure of a cord is a bit off.....or the wood you use has some sort of alien technology that lets it yield heat without being consumed.....
