How to identify a Husky 262 cylinder...

Sorry I dont have any pictures, but a friend of mine has a 262 cylinder that he wants to know if its a KS cylinder or not. The only thing he will tell me is it has a 91 stamped on the base. I asked him if anywhere he could see the words Mahle and he said not as far as he could see. Anyone have an idea of what jug would have the number 91 stamped on it? Thanks.

Also it is a non-decomp cylinder

If it is indeed a KS cylinder, it will have their stamp near the base on one side.

If it is a 262 cyclinder w/o decomp, the odds favor it being a KS cylinder.

IIRC, (my memory has been flawed at times) '91' in casting indicates a 262 also ...

This may be a little clearer. The Kolbenschmidt symbol is the one on the left that looks like a dollar sign. Actually it is a 'K' superimposed on an 'S'. As you can see, the symbol is on the clutch side of the cylinder bottom flange.
