There seems to be a lot of Click this, click that, copy that, type that, put this code in, etc. 90% is not needed in Photobucket.

Upload your photo to Photobucket. Best to downsize it with program before doing it - it takes awhile if your don't.

Now, if not done already, downsize it. How?

Photobucket has an "edit" just above your picture, click on it, Then "resize" Choose the size. I use "Message board".

Once that is done, to insert that picture all you need to do it:

Go to your picture in photobucket.
Look below it and you have choices
E-mail...
Direct...
HTML...
IMG code.

Put cursor over the "IMG block" left click and you will see "copied" appear.

Go back to your message, right click and "paste".

Done - no need to type anything. Your picture will appear in your post when you review it or post it.

+1 thanks for this info and check your pm .

I'm at your level

Good you got your pics up but now we have to learn how to do it so they appear in text rather than having to click to open ........ I know there's a way.

getting the pic to appear directly without having to click on it was the reason for my very first posting.

Several people answered, and several others tried the instructions and it worked. Probably takes 15 seconds once I get the hang of it, I just have not had time to go back and print, read carefully and try it. But there were some really good answers earlier.

First, you need to have the photos online somewhere. I upload mine to photobucket.com (it's free). Then, when composing your post or reply here, click on the icon just above your text that says "insert image". You will be prompted to type in the web address (URL) of the image. One easy way to do this is, when viewing the photo at photobucket, just copy the web address from your browser window, then paste it into the window requesting the URL.
I hope I haven't made this sound more confusing than it is.

Just testing but this is my new 357xp
