Your lucky day I have a complete 306a , never tried to start .only $50.00 ,,,,, And a 245a that ran 5ish years ago cylinder wasn't the best but in comes with a good use P/C for another $75.00

Thanks for the offer but I only need a carb. I try to avoid the older stuff, this is just a favor for a friend. It was his Dad's saw so I told him I'd help. I got the recoil working well and it popped off with fuel in the spark plug hole. One of the cover screws is stripped so that's why I'm looking.
I have one. Off a 306a to boot.

Thanks guys. It looks like Carl has what I need. Another member even had a new one in the box. Awesome! I'll update this post when i have one in my grubby mitts but for now I should be good.
