Hi There, while I was looking closely at a 385XP, I noticed this brass vent on the filtre mount. Does anyone know what the function of this is?

On a Husky, that is your exhaust port when they backfire as they usually do it muffles as well as spark arrests.. it also works as an intake when you can get the saw to run like it should.

Hi Robert, thanks for clearing that one up. At first I thought it was just a + battery terminal for jump starting the saw in colder weather.
