I know that the 357 and the 372 share architecture as do the 385 and 390. Is the 395 sharing it's platform with the 3120?

I'm looking at some saws this spring and trying to decide. The price difference is not so much an issue. I'm well aware the 395's days are numbered, that's a factor as I may not be able to get one again, but size also matters. Is the extra bulk and weight of the 395 worth the .6hp? I'm inclined to say no. Keep in mind I have to some monster Homelites. Big saws are cool as toys, but I don't want to run one extensively.

BTW. Was in the local saw shop yesterday... 372 price about gave me a heart attack. I'm still going to get another one, though:rock:

The 3120 powerhead weighs 23# and the 395 about 17.5#, so are completely different. I think that you'll find the 357 the same as the 359, and use the small bar mount. The 362, 365, and 372 are siblings that use the large bar mount.

The 372xpw is 75cc, so the 372 factory BB.
