Husqvarna 141 problems

Hello I bought a used husky 141 and it would not run right. when at idol it was ok, but when i gave it gas it would baug down and die. I cleaned the carb and checked the spark arrestor. I put it back together and tuned the carb, but was wondering if any one could tell me what color the spark plug should be to know if the mix is correct. as far as too rich or lean. thanks

Sounds like the fuel filter's plugged. Mine did that to me, too after a couple seasons. New filters and plug made everything nice. My Mac 2-10 I bought used did the same thing. Filters and plug plus a little tuning fixed it. Hopefully that's all it takes.
