Hey guys working on a vintage 266se for one of you to buy šŸ˜. I have an ipl for a 266 but I cannot find these grommets anywhere on it. Doesnt even show a gromet going into the tank. Its very basic and nkt complete. I feel like they must have come on this saw like the 288 has?!šŸ¤” Never done one of these se models before. So as you can see I found the grommet for the fuel line into the tank. I have the grommet for the impulse but the one for the fuel line going into the chassis I do not have nor can I seem to find a part # or even just Google the part. Only aftermarket comes up and I dunno if it's even right. The other is the gromet/boot for the Throttle lever. Maybe this saw didn't have these but any help or info is appreciated I need these asap if they do exist... this saw needs to feed my fat fat dog lol

Very seldom do I come across a 266 that still has those grommets. The grommet for the fuel line through the engine case is 501 55 10-01 which is obsolete, the bellows for the throttle is 503 44 50-01. The most recent 2018-06 272 IPL shows the fuel line grommet as 503 69 76-01, which looks to be available, but I can not gurantee that it will fit. The choke lever grommet is 501 52 78-01.
You have the incorrect fuel line there provided you have the original tank; which by the black throttle and operator presence lever I believe you do, the 266 uses a molded line, with no grommet in the tank, part number 501 28 59-02.

Um, you do not have a grommet for the impulse line- there aint no impulse line on a 266, they pulse through the intake block. ;)

There's a gromet underneath the tilitson carb, the metering cover has a center hole, I suppose it may not technically be part of the impulse operation but either way dunno the "technical" term I know there's no impulse hose or line

Oh and 76-01 fits the tank very tightly but too small for case

That one is a support buffer the carb rests upon.

Wow lol I had all but the obsolete pt # already just apparently didn't find em all yet. But still thanks I always appreciate how easy it is usually to get info here. I'll be sure to post saw in a week or two. What is this saws sweet spot for bar length ??

For me (I have a couple of XP ones) I like them in the 20-24 inch range- so maybe 22 inch is a sweet spot!
