Husqvarna 285 Ignition

I've got a Husky 285 CD that was running great until the ignition went south. Would the flywheel/module from a 480 CD work as a replacement? I've been told a 2100 flywheel/module will work, but I'd also need to upgrade to a 3 dog starter pulley, and 2100 parts aren't exactly falling from the trees either. I've got a 480 parts saw and was just looking for some guidance prior to pulling the flywheel. Thanks!

You can use the ignition systems off the 165 / 265 brushcutter. You have to change the flywheel and module at the same time.
