You know the machining process is these two halves screwed together. There machined together on a jig boring machining center. There could be a chance that two different machined halves won’t go together. The shaft alignment could be off. I never mixed up the halves even on dirtbike engines.

If you can assemble the two different halves and put a 6” machines ruler across the crank bearing bores to make sure there even with each other at 3 o’clock, and 6 o’clock. A little pen lite on the opposite side of the scale in your view should show up no light under the scale if the bores are even.
