husqvarna 394 xp piston and rings

I have a 394 with low compression I pulled the top and looked over the piston and rings and I can see no big damage but lots of wear and carbon. I think I should replace the piston and rings but I would like a second opinion if this is the correct thinking.

It's hard to see anything on the cylinder. The piston looks to be worn some with real light scoring.

That's actually a 395 cylinder, note the quad transfers. Get a Meteor 395 piston and rings and get your saw running again. Use new OEM wrist pin clips.
