I have a Husqvarna 55 its like new condition, been stored setting on my shelf . I bought it off a guy 'bout 10,12, plus years ago who bought it new and never used it. This is maybe the second time I used it. I have a Husqy 51 I use mostly and the 55 is a back up saw
Anyway I just replaced the fuel line, cause it was leaking and had a crack/hole where it goes through the case/tank, just from being stored. Got the line from Mertle Crk Saw shop.
It was a piece of cake to replace. New line is the curly pigtail shape the original was just straight.
How do these Husky fuel filters work? The Material it is made of looks like it soaks up fuel like a sponge to keep fuel supplied so it wont suck any air. Is that correct ?
