Had a chance to visit Madsen’s saw shop this morning and was surprised to find the Husqvarna saw shelves nearly bare. Plenty of Stihl available there.
Asked if they were getting out of the Husqvarna market and the worker told me they are just hard to get at the moment. He said they have a waiting list of people wanting to get a Husqvarna saw.
Is this just a Pacific Northwest issue or the same elsewhere as well?

A few months ago they had a ton of Husky and no Stihl so I think it's just what the last shipment that came in was.

Can't say I've seen much of a shortage in stihl or husqy, but we have more dealers for both then you can shake a stick at around here so plenty of stock either way. Even seen a new ms400 at the dealers the other day. Didn't have any of the new 5 series husqys yet though. They didn't know when they would get them in either, but that was just one dealer out of at least 4 I can think of within a 20 minuet drive of my house.
