Husqvarna wide clutch cover comparison

The wide 385/390xp cover is on the bottom... What's funny is the wide cover came on a 385xpw low top... My other 385 came with a high top filter non wrap model

I bought one of these wide clutch covers for my Jred 2188 from Spike.

The 390 cover is only slightly wider than the standard 372 cover but the more open bottom on the wide dischard cover makes a huge difference when noodling. The 390 cover is sbout useless plugging instantly in pitchy Doug Fir where the wide dischard cover will not plug up at all . I found this with a 28" buried.
