I got a Husky 61 clutch cover and top cover...and the rest of the saw is a Jonsered 630. LOL. It sure looked orange in pics and I don't enough to look for in the faded recoil decal. Oil and sawdust covered ID plate. I opened it and said that's the redest Husky I've ever seen. It was cheap enough as a parts saw. Has 125 PSI, so I was gonna put an AM 272 topend on it. I've read there may be changes required...intake, carb, muffler. Can someone tell by pics how much direct bolt on I have and what new parts I'd need? Thanks

Pulled the jug - 50mm Mahle CP. So, guess it was a "268". Both jug and piston look great. Scratching head over low compression. Piston ring looked good - not much outer wear. Then ring gap - feeler gauge won't work - you need a yardstick. I'm thinking this may be a 48mm ring?

I just KNEW the jug and piston was bad...have a 272 topend, intake adapter, longer carb bolts en-route. LOL. Lesson learned - actually disassemble saw and not just KNOW.
