I got into some 32 inch Southern Yellow Pine last week and that stuff was slowing the 562 down.
It is fairley dense grain and full of rosin. This stuff might qualify as a hardwood if compared to white pine or fir.
Anyway it was time to get out the 365/372 and that saw went through this stuff and never slowed down.
I have to admit that I had considered selling the bigger saw in a moment of temporary insanity. Kind of like when I sold a new 2009 372 XPW last year.
The 562 got a new 20 inch Techlite this week. It does make a diference in how heavy the saw feels. Might handle better too.
