I should have been clearer, not honey locust for sure, black locust? if ive cut one I didnt know it. The other timber I cut has several different species.The 81 year old man that owns the land cuts his own wood and till last year split his own wood by hand he knows his trees and im trying to learn. Ive cut alot of different stuff there but like I said no expert but I do know honey locust and it is good wood.
