Sure you do, for such large wood - but why not an 090?
That did cross my mind....getting parts and the initial cost would be prohibitive though.

my bad, was thinking along the lines of a beffed up ms180, until you said 90cc....
get the dolmar 9900
I did start out with a 180. SWEET little saw.
Never seen a 9900, you got a pic?
pics sent. The vid is on a flash drive at the hotel room. it will be a couple hours before I can send it over

I've heard that the McStihloch SP090125 really rips through 6" wood.
you might be disappointed in the vid, the smallest wood it exploded, erh cut was about 8", kinda like a light saber
Still cant wait to see it. Do you still have it?
I cant decide, Stihl or Husky?
Id like to get either a 660 or 395. I dont really have much to cut, biggest is probably 6". I will only use the saw a couple times a year. Im thinking a 36" bar with RS full skip.
Can anyone help?

Are you from Norway?:monkey:
Caterpillar makes a nice saw well suited for wood that size. Has a super long bar, I mean really long. A nice big motor, so it should pull well in hard wood. Kinda pricey, but will smoke any current Husky or Stihl.
